StashRecipe is a personal web application for saving, organizing, and browsing recipes. You can add recipes manually, import them from web links, or upload screenshots and photos and let optical character recognition (OCR) extract ingredients and steps. You can also upload images for your recipes and your avatar.
By creating an account on StashRecipe, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, you cannot register or use the service. Continuing to use StashRecipe after changes to the Terms implies acceptance of the updated version.
To use StashRecipe you must create an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and secure. Your account is strictly personal and cannot be shared with others. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for all content you upload, save, or import into StashRecipe, including recipes, images, notes, and tags. You must ensure you have the right to use and save the content you enter. You must not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights, including copyright.
The recipes you save in StashRecipe — including title, ingredients, steps, personal notes, tags, times, and servings — are personal content managed by you. StashRecipe stores them to provide you with the service. We do not use them for other purposes, we do not publish them, and we do not share them with third parties.
StashRecipe lets you import recipes by pasting a web link or uploading screenshots and photos. Text extraction uses automated tools (scraping for links, OCR for images). These tools can make mistakes: extracted text may be incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrectly formatted. You always have the opportunity to review and correct the content before saving. StashRecipe is not responsible for the accuracy of automatically extracted content.
You can upload images for your recipes and your avatar. Images must comply with the size limits set by the application and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or third-party copyrighted content without authorization. We reserve the right to remove images that violate these conditions.
The content you upload to StashRecipe remains your property. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing you with the service. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.
You may not use StashRecipe for purposes other than personal recipe management. In particular, you may not: use the service for illegal activities; attempt to access other users' accounts; intentionally overload the servers; use bots or automated tools to interact with the service without authorization; upload malware or harmful content.
StashRecipe is currently in beta. This means the service is under active development, may contain bugs, and some features may be changed or removed. We do our best to ensure stability and protect your data, but we cannot guarantee full continuity or availability of the service during this phase.
We do not guarantee that StashRecipe will be available without interruption or free of errors. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We will do our best to minimize downtime and, when possible, notify you in advance.
You can delete your account at any time from the profile page. Deletion is permanent and results in the irreversible removal of all your data, including recipes, images, notes, and personal information. This action cannot be undone. We also reserve the right to suspend or close any account that violates these Terms.
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in the service or for legal reasons. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you via email or through an in-app notice. The current version is always available on this page. Continuing to use StashRecipe after a change implies acceptance of the new Terms.
StashRecipe is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for: loss of data or content; service interruptions; errors in automatic recipe extraction; direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. You use StashRecipe at your own risk.
